jamesbuildsThe other end of the extension. Bifold doors out to the garden and the dining table where the old back wall used to be. On sunny days the whole back of the house opens up. Worth every week of living with dust sheets.

jamesbuildsRear extension update: the kitchen is in. Dark timber island, handleless units along the back wall and a big rooflight over the dining end. Building control signed off last week. Biggest lesson: order the kitchen early, ours had a ten-week lead time.
